It is a painless uneasiness feeling of the stomach, like a sensation of an urge to vomit. It can come on all of a sudden, or can be gradual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What causes nausea for no reason?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Food poisoning or stomach flu<\/li><li>Pregnancy, especially in the early stages (morning sickness)<\/li><li>Medication side effects<\/li><li>Motion sickness<\/li><li>Intense or unpleasant smells<\/li><li>Ingestion of toxins or excessive amount of alcohol<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you make nausea go away?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Drink large amounts of water or clear fluids<\/li><li>Drink an oral rehydration solution, such as Pedialyte, to prevent and treat dehydration<\/li><li>Avoid eating solid foods until nausea or vomiting has improved: rest your stomach!!<\/li><li>Eat light, bland foods, such as saltine crackers or bread, when feeling less nauseated<\/li><li>Avoid eating fried, greasy, or sweet foods until nausea has improved<\/li><li>Avoid physical activity after eating<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>**Nausea can also be treated with medications called \u201cantiemetics\u201d.&nbsp;
