Here we will discuss symptoms associated with<br>ADHD in adults, but symptoms may be similar in children as well. The Mayo Clinic states some adults may have fewer symptoms as they get older but others will still have challenges with activities of daily living. The following are examples of adult ADHD symptoms according to the Mayo Clinic:<br>\u25cb Difficulty focusing, completing, and prioritizing tasks<br>\u25cb Poor time management, planning, or multitasking<br>\u25cb Impulsive tendencies<br>\u25cb Issues with organization<br>\u25cb Feeling restless<br>\u25cb Mood swings or temper flare ups<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9342944334127739\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-9342944334127739\" data-ad-slot=\"9438483114\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n\n\n\n<p><br>2) Treatment options include lifestyle changes, counseling\/therapy, and medications. Per<br>the CDC lifestyle changes that may help regulate someone with ADHD include creating a routine, managing distractions, planning ahead, making goals, as well as a healthy<br>lifestyle with sufficient sleep and exercise. Therapy choices include behavior therapy,<br>support groups, and parental intervention\/training. There are two common classes of medication used to treat ADHD: stimulants and non-stimulants. Talk to a health care professional to determine which treatment method is best for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>3) Many people who have ADHD also have a coexisting psychological or developmental<br>disorder. For instance, some with ADHD may also have anxiety or depression. It\u2019s important to follow up with a health care provider if you or someone you know has uncontrolled ADHD to ensure proper treatment and care as you may have an undiagnosed comorbid condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7
