What can I do to get rid of pink eye?
Different Types
Basically there are 3 types of “pink eye”, one is allergic, meaning allergies, the other is bacterial, meaning you need treatment with an antibiotic, the third is viral.
All need to be evaluated. The telehealth platform is a perfect platform and the provider can figure out what treatment is best for you!
What to do?
When you have “pink eye”, refrain from contact use, (wear your glasses), and also refrain from eye makeup until the “pink eye” has resolved.
Also know that it may be very contagious, good hand washing, washing linens frequently to avoid reinfection, as well as avoid touching the affected eye as this may spread it to the other non-affected eye.
